As if 2020 didn’t have enough racial tension, HBO decides to throw fuel to the fire through its latest series Lovecraft Country. Based on a 2016 novel, the story is yet another remark about how racist America is in the current year. This time, we’ve got the usual “timely” comparisons between 2020 and the Jim Crow era.
