Kerry Says of Departing Hagel, I ‘Love Him as a Friend’

Secretary of State John Kerry said Monday he was “very sad” to hear that Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel was stepping down, praising his former Senate and current cabinet colleague as a soldier, public servant and “great friend.”
