On the 9 April 2010 edition of CNN's Newsroom, Jeffrey Toobin used slanted labeling about the Supreme Court, shortly after Justice John Paul Stevens announced his retirement. Toobin stated that President Obama's pick to replace Stevens would be a "moderate liberal" like Justice Sotomayor. He continued that the President was no "liberal firebrand" and that the 2007 Heller decision was "activist."
