Commenting a year after the end of the first Persian Gulf War, NBC's John Chancellor was distressed by a Greenpeace report that claimed 198,000 Iraqis died vs. a couple of hundred American soldiers. "The disparity is huge and somewhat embarrassing," Chancellor huffed, as if the U.S. should apologize for tactics that kept their soldiers mostly safe.
