Gov’t Urged to Consider Religious Freedom in Int'l Trade Talks

Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) argued on the Senate floor last week that religious freedom must be taken into account when the U.S. negotiates trade deals with other countries. His amendment to that effect passed, and was included in the “fast track” trade promotion bill which the U.S. Senate passed on Friday night.
