Just yesterday, the Daily Caller broke the story of how Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) allegedly paid two prostitutes for sex, one stating that Menendez “was nice at first, but then later he did not seem to care about her.” The report also claimed that he shortchanged the women, promising them $500 but only giving $100.

However, back in January 2011, Sen. Menendez portrayed a much different tone than he's currently facing for his alleged actions.

During this time, he actively spoke out and advocated for the immediate passage of the Equal Rights Amendment for women.
