A suspect posing as an intern shot an employee this afternoon at the Family Research Council (FRC) in Chinatown, DC. The suspect is believed to be a 28-year-old man from Virginia.

The shooter told his victim, a security guard, "It was not about you, it was about what this place stands for." The FRC is a strong supporter of traditional marriage and life from conception.
