With the floodgates finally open on New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s (D) disgusting scandals (specifically the sexual harassment allegations), the broadcast networks were running full reports on the allegations. But CBS Evening News was out the make Democrats look good on Tuesday, with correspondent Jericka Duncan falsely claiming a Democratic congresswoman was the lone New Yorker on Capitol Hill calling for Cuomo to resign.
“While the Governor has denied the sexual harassment against these women, there are continuing growing calls for him to leave this mansion and step down,” Duncan announced as she was wrapping up her report. “So far, only one member of the New York congressional delegation is calling for Cuomo to resign. That person is Representative Kathleen Rice.”
But that was fake news.
