Patrick Gaspard, Executive Director of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) appeared on MSNBC and said President Obama supports the reinstatement of the assault weapons ban.
“The president has always supported the rights of responsible gun owners and he continues to support the reinstatement of the assault weapons ban. He always knows that bill faces significant headwinds in Congress which is why it’s incumbent upon us to do all that we can to strengthen existing laws", Gaspard says.
