At a House Homeland Security Committee hearing Wednesday titled "Shutting Down Terrorist Pathways into America," officials at the Department of Homeland Security admitted they have not explored the use of "deception detection technology" for screening refugees and other visa applicants despite a law signed last year directing the agency to do so.
