Colonel Martha McSally (USAF-RET), who is a Republican candidate in AZ-8's special election to replace Gabby Giffords, appeared on Fox News and said she wanted to kick Rick Santorum "in the jimmy" after asked her thoughts on a Santorum comment while discussing women in combat. 

"You know, I agree with many of the things Rick Santorum says, but when I heard this I really just wanted to go kick him in the jimmy", Col. McSally stated.

In 1991, the Senate voted overwhelmingly to overturn a 43-year-old law that bars women from flying warplanes in combat. Colonel Martha McSally was the first American woman combat pilot after the amendment was added to the military budget bill in 1992.
