On the 13 July 2015 edition of CNN's New Day, Alisyn Camerota and Chris Cuomo hyped David Letterman coming "out of retirement" on Friday to issue a top ten list mocking Donald Trump. The two anchors were nearly brought to tears over Letterman's list. Camerota exclaimed, "We do miss David Letterman!" Cuomo seconded Camerota's sentiment and added, "We miss the social critique. It will be interesting to see who picks up the mantle."
