A Sesame Workshop's Sherrie Westin assured CNN that "Big Bird" is here to stay if PBS subsidies are cut, since "Sesame Street" gets little PBS funding.
That didn't stop CNN's Soledad O'Brien from bringing on "Reading Rainbow" host Lavar Burton to rail against public broadcasting cuts.
