CNN appeared to give more credibility to the Family Research Council's "hate group" label doled out by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Anchor Randi Kaye, after airing a war of words between the two groups including the SPLC's explanation of the "hate group" label, cited the SPLC as a credible source on "hate groups" in the U.S.
