For the second straight day, CBS This Morning on 18 July 2012 promoted a liberal comedian attacking a prominent Republican. ABC's Jimmy Kimmel denigrated former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as a "crazy moose lady" on his late night program the previous evening. Despite this insult, Kimmel hinted that Palin was somehow better than Mitt Romney. The CBS morning newscast featured the insult during their regular "Eye Opener" segment.
