In Break With Administration Policy, Ambassador Power Calls Armenian Mass Killings ‘Genocide’

For eight years President Obama has not kept a campaign pledge to recognize early 20th century atrocities against Armenians as “genocide.” But now his ambassador to the U.N. has referred in public not merely to “genocide” in the context of the mass killings, but to its “denial.”
