Maybe Mike Barnicle should start referring to ISIS as Borg. After all, he apparently believes that resistance is futile . . . On today's Morning Joe, Barnicle criticized the notion of NATO forming a force to combat ISIS.

The cringing former Boston Globe columnist worried "wouldn't . . . creating a NATO force just add fuel to the recruiting fever that ISIS employs within Europe?" Great point, Mike. So evocative of Winston Churchill, who famously [didn't] say when the Nazis starting bombing Britain "we better not fight back. It might make Hitler mad."
