Former Sen. Alan Simpson released a video telling kids to stop Instagramming their breakfast, tweeting their first world problems and use those social media sites to get people involved in The Can Kicks Back campaign.
In between, however, he attempts to dance to 'Gangnam Style'.
In 2010, Simpson was appointed to co-chair President Obama's National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform. The position has since been abolished.
