Appearing on the October 18 edition of PBS’ Charlie Rose show, actor Nathan Lane, out of the blue, took a shot at Donald Trump as he called the GOP a “bully” and “misogynist.” Lane, came on to promote his Broadway revival of “The Front Page” and couldn’t resist himself in comparing his character to the GOP presidential nominee.
When Rose asked Lane to explain his character “Walter Burns,” the comedic actor responded: “Well, he’s, you know, he’s many things. He’s a bully, he’s a misogynist. Wait a minute, is this Donald Trump?!”
