On April 18, 2011, the Power Shift “Make Big Polluters Pay” rally was held at Lafayette Square in Washington,D.C. During this rally of mainly college students, roads were shut down as they marched to the Chamber of Commerce, BP lobby headquarters, GenOn main offices, then looped back to Lafayette Square calling for ‘climate justice’.
