It's no hidden secret the liberal media goes out of their way to completely trash members of the GOP and paint them as 'extremists', but when it comes time for a presidential election, they really step up their game. 

Now that Rep. Paul Ryan was picked to be Romney's running mate, the media will be in full-out blitzkrieg mode in an attempt to define him as 'out of touch', 'radical', and spew classic lines such as 'he wants to toss grandma off a cliff'.

He's not the first.

Here's a video compilation of the left-wing media trashing GOP Vice Presidential nominees dating all the way back to Dan Quayle in 1988.

The biggest difference between then and now is there's a new media to counter their lies.
