MRCTV's Joe Schoffstall caught up with former presidential candidate Herman Cain at his rally to push his '9-9-9' tax plan at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. 

When asked how he'd respond to Liberals in Congress framing the Voter ID argument as a Civil Rights issue and comments made by DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) saying the GOP wants to drag us back to Jim Crow laws, Cain Responded:

"That's a big fat lie. They are not taking us back to Jim Crow. The only reason that the Liberals don't want photo ID in order for people to vote, is because it makes it easier for them to cheat at the polls. I grew up in the South and during the Civil Rights Movement. We have to have a photo ID for everything we do, but yet they want to frame it as taking us back to Jim Crow. That's just a distraction and a lie as to why Conservatives want photo Voter ID Laws passed."
