White House Press Secretary Jay Carney vehemently insisted that it’s an insult to dare suggest that anyone in the White House might be involved in national security leaks for the sake of political gain.
"The President take this very serioulsy, we all take this very seriously, it is an insult and presposterous to suggest that this White House would leak information for political gain, classified infrormation for political gain, that did not happen and would not happen under this President."
