The top Google searches each year provide a fascinating look at what interested us and what caught our imagination that year. Here’s what the top trending searches on Google for 2014 were:

 

A “trending” search term is a term that has had the most increase over the year previous.

Every year, pregnancy is one of the top symptoms searched, but this year it seems more people worried whether they had Ebola or the flu than if they were pregnant.
