Officer Matt Okes, A Virginia State Police officer, broke the Liberal Media narrative when he stopped on the side of the road to help a young man stranded on the road in the middle of the night. Officer Okes stopped, exited his vehicle and approached the youth who had lost a tire on his way home from school. He didn’t ask if the Mercedes-Benz was stolen; he didn’t ask if he had any drugs or weapons on him. Instead, the officer got down on his knees and attempted to replace a blown-out tire.
When Okes determined that the tire was a lost cause, he stayed with the boy and his vehicle until the parents arrived with AAA. The officer made sure that student and his vehicle were kept safe from high-speed traffic until they were done at 2 am. The family took the picture below and called Okes a hero and and took to social media to praise the officer for being their good Samaritan. He drove behind them for a while to make sure they would be okay before eventually continuing on with his patrol.
