Despite the “listen and believe” narrative and the demonization of the star its the media, Warner Bros. Television has found no evidence of sexual assault on the cast of “Bachelor in Paradise.”

The Holywood Reporter states the saga began when contestant Corinne Olympios accused the show's star, DeMario Jackson, of sexually assaulting her in a pool during filming. A producer allegedly filed a complaint against the series, as it appeared Olympios had been drinking before the sexual encounter. Production for the season was halted pending an investigation.

In a statement to BuzzFeed News that was picked up without an examination of the facts, Olympios called herself a “victim” and that she will be seeking therapy and hiring an attorney to deal with the “physical and emotional trauma”:

As a woman, this is my worst nightmare and it has now become my reality. As I pursue the details and facts surrounding that night and the immediate days after, I have retained a group of professionals to ensure that what happened on June 4 comes to light and I can continue my life, including hiring an attorney to obtain justice and seeking therapy to begin dealing with the physical and emotional trauma stemming from that evening.

It should be noted that despite being on “Bachelor in Paradise,” which is predicated on finding love, Olympios has a boyfriend.

The Hollywood Reporter also alleges “sources” who have reviewed the footage believe Olympios was “lucid” and “conversational” during the taping of the sexual encounter.

Even though the situation at the time was a he-said, she-said debate, Jackson was depicted as a sexual predator because of the mere fact that a woman accused him of committing sexual assault. The Daily Beast wrote, “The fact that Jackson’s camp felt the need to get ahead of this story immediately raises red flags,” despite the fact that his support group was trying to rebuke accusations, as any normal person would do.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that after an investigation, Warner Bros. Television has determined no misconduct took place and filming will resume:

Our internal investigation, conducted with the assistance of an outside law firm, has now been completed. Out of respect for the privacy interests of those involved, we do not intend to release the videotape of the incident. We can say, however, that the tape does not support any charge of misconduct by a cast member. Nor does the tape show, contrary to many press reports, that the safety of any cast member was ever in jeopardy.

Jackson’s publicist, Eve Sarkisyan-Nunn, revealed Jackson said his “character and family name has been assassinated this past week with false claims and malicious allegations.”

“I will be taking swift and appropriate legal action until my name is cleared and, per the advice of legal counsel, will be seeking all available remedies entitled to me under the laws,” the statement continued.

E! News reports in an exclusive interview from fellow contestant Jasmine Goode that Olympois “forced herself on three male cast members when they were unable to consent.”

A statement from Olympois’ lawyer claimed they would be making their own independent investigation about what happened and that “[i]t comes as no surprise that Warner Bros., as a result of its own internal investigation, would state that no wrongdoing had occurred.”
