Due to its association with slave owner Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson--who is held largely responsible for the deaths of countless Native Americans--the Democratic Party of Connecticut has decided to rename their annual fundraising event previously known as the "Jefferson-Jackson Dinner."

The move was made after pressure was put on the state's Democratic Party by the NAACP and could prompt other state Democratic Parties to scrap the name as well since almost every state has its own "Jefferson-Jackson" event.

So what will the new name of these fundraising events be?

MRCTV was recently at a Jefferson-Jackson Dinner in Northern Virginia and asked attendees who they thought would be good replacements for the two, now abandoned, presidents.
