Welcome to the future!

Today is October 21, 2015. That means that this is the day that Marty McFly arrived in the future in the iconic film, "Back to the Future Part II."

In the film, originally released in 1989, director Robert Zemeckis predicted what things would look like today. The movie portrays an America that is full of flying cars, hoverboards, self-fitting clothes and other incredible scientific advancements, almost none of which have come to fruition.

But last year, I gave the makers of the film the benefit of the doubt. They still had a whole year to see if their portrayal of 2015 would be accurate.  Here's how things turned out.
