Yet another White House security breach has made the airwaves.

A suspicious “quad-copter” drone crashed on the South Lawn of the White House late Sunday night, according to Press Secy. Josh Earnest.

Twitter soon lit up in suspicion, labeling Vice President Joe Biden a possible suspect in the matter.

The owner of the drone reportedly came forward Monday afternoon to claim responsibility for the drone.

The individual, a former government employee, told the Secret Service that the device was being used for recreational purposes. He apparently “did not mean to fly it over the White House fence and near the president’s residence,” reported the New York Times.

OK, sure. But why was he flying the drone at 3 a.m., in the middle of the night?

At least Biden is in the clear. Thank goodness.

Here’s a picture of the drone, in case you were wondering.
