Donald Trump spoke Friday afternoon at the 2016 Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference in Washington, D.C.

During his remarks, Trump said that, as president, he will work “to uphold the sanctity and dignity of life.”

“We want to uphold the sanctity and dignity of life,” said Trump, "marriage and family as the building block of happiness and success. So important.”

He plans to appoint pro-life Supreme Court justices if elected in November.

“Here is some of what we can accomplish together. Appoint judges … who will uphold our laws, protect our Constitution, and protect the rights of all Americans,” said Trump. “That’s one of the most important reasons we have to win the presidency. If we don’t, it’s going to be a whole different country.”

“And by the way, these judges are all pro-life,” he noted, referring to his list of potential SCOTUS nominees.

“We will restore respect for people of faith,” Trump promised.

He spoke as presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton gave a speech at a Planned Parenthood event in Washington, D.C., equating women’s rights with access to abortion.
