A conservative business owner in Lake Oswego, Ore., is packing up and heading to a “red state” following threats for his part in organizing a pro-Trump march.

Kevin Kerwin, known as “Kevin the Geek,” ran a computer repair shop in a town neighboring the historic, left-leaning Portland. Over the years, Kerwin has gained national attention for the conservative signs he has posted outside of his shop.

In 2012, a sign plastered on his storefront called former President Obama an “INCOMPETENT LOUSY EXCUSE FOR A PRESIDENT” in light of his “you didn’t build that” remarks. Kerwin was reportedly assaulted at the time for his sign.

A more recent display he set up outside his repair shop condemned all “ignorant liberals,” including celebrity Bruce Springsteen.

The sign told liberals to “go straight to hell”:

"To All Ignorant Liberals including Bruce Springsteen...

The 4 People Who Kidnapped & Tortured a Disabled Teenager

Just Because He Supports Donald Trump

Just Shows Everyone You are a Party of Complete Morons

I’m Embarrassed to Call You Americans

Go Straight to Hell Where You Belong. We’ve had it With You Idiots."

At the time, Kerwin told Willamette Week, “Since the election, liberals have been burning down Portland, smashing cars, crying like babies, calling they got the popular vote when everyone knew it was the electoral vote, and crying and crying... And then when I saw that video of that kid getting tortured I said, 'Screw you all, I hate you.’”

It appears Kerwin has finally become fed up enough to leave.

The Oregonian reports, Kerwin placed a sign outside of his shop thanking Lake Oswego for the 10 years he’s been in business, but he is finally going to join his “fellow deplorables” in a “red state”:

"Thank You Lake Oswego

For 10 years of Awesome.

I’ve moved my Shop to a Red State

So I can enjoy the next 8 years with

My Fellow Deplorables - Go Trump

We Won Get Over it"

The leader of “Don’t Shoot PDX,” Portland’s alternative to Black Lives Matter, reportedly posted a photo of the sign and encouraged Kerwin’s move.

Kerwin told the Oregonian that because of his involvement in organizing the March 4 Trump in his city earlier this month, he received phone threats. One person in particular allegedly told him he wouldn’t be marching at all.

"I just wish liberals would get their act together," Kerwin told the Oregonian. "Freedom of speech is a right and not what they decide can be said or not. You don't stop other people from speaking out."

Asked by Willamette Week where he was planning to move, Kerwin responded, “Why do you want to know? So you can send your liberal idiots after me?"

Kerwin said he will be moving to be “with people like me,” since “Portland has turned into a sewer of liberals.”
