During the town hall-style presidential debate in St. Louis, Mo., on Sunday, Donald Trump was asked to respond to the video that recently emerged showing the Republican presidential candidate having a vulgar conversation about kissing, groping and seducing women.

He said that he was “very embarrassed by it,” “but it’s locker room talk.”

“This was locker room talk,” Trump said. “I’m not proud of it. But this is locker room talk.”

“Yes I’m very embarrassed by it,” he continued. “I hate it. But it’s locker room talk.”

“I have great respect for women,” Trump added. “Nobody has more respect for women than I do.”

When pressed by moderator Anderson Cooper to say on the record whether he has committed sexual assault, kissing or groping women without consent, Trump replied, “No I have not.”
