Donald Trump held a rally in downtown San Diego on Friday.
During his remarks at the San Diego Convention Center, situated just 15 miles from the U.S.-Mexico border, Trump encouraged his supporters to chant, “build that wall.”
“We’re gonna build a wall,” Trump promised.
“Latinos for Trump, I love you!” he added.
Right before the Republican presidential nominee took the stage, rally attendees were asked, “Is California ready to send Donald J. Trump to the White House?”
The crowd roared with applause.
