While appearing on “Dr. Drew on Call,” Inside Edition reporter Zoey Tur threatened to send Breitbart editor-at-large Ben Shapiro “home in an ambulance.

Tur and Shapiro were slated as guests to discuss the controversy surrounding Caitlyn Jenner receiving the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. During a heated back-and-forth on the topic of genetics and trangenderism, Shapiro referred to Tur, who is transgender, as “Sir.”

This struck a nerve for Tur, who then placed a hand on Shapiro’s neck and said, “You cut that out now, or you’ll go home in an ambulance.”

Shapiro defended his use of the word “sir” by saying, “I’m sorry, it’s not rude to say that someone who’s biologically a male is a male.”

After the episode, Tur took to Twitter.

(S)he continued to threaten violence against Shapiro:

As well, Tur used the spotlight to make some jabs at conservatives:

Tur also gloated about the popularity of the exchange:

Dr. Drew Pinsky has also taken note of social media’s interest in the story and has allegedly invited Shapiro and Tur back on his show.

Shapiro has since filed a police report against Tur for battery.
