The Time My Boss Kicked the Crap Out of the Ghost of Margaret Sanger

I take great pride in the fact that I'm not a brown-noser. If there's a politician I disagree with, I will not stoop to defending him or her simply to garner social media hits.  The same goes for my boss, Media Research Center President, Brent Bozell.

On Thursday, I saw my boss give a speech that I will never never forget and, whether he was my employer or not, I would not hesitate to share it.

African American ministers and a host of pro-life advocates gathered in front of the Smithsonian Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C. on Thursday to demand that the museum remove a bust of Planned Parenthood founder, eugenicist and KKK associate, Margaret Sanger from the museum, where she shares a place of honor next to actual civil rights heroes like Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks. (Apparently, there are a lot of people in Washington who ate paint chips as children.)

The Media Research Center was one of the primary sponsors of the event and I was sitting nearby and watching as my boss got up and delivered his remarks explaining why having Sanger celebrated in one of the nation's most highly-respected art galleries makes about as much sense as flying the hammer and sickle flag at the Reagan Library.

Every speaker eloquently explained how Sanger was an individual who was not in any way interested in "women's rights" - but, rather a eugenicist who was intent on using abortion to eliminate the African American population altogether.

But, then Bozell took the stand and proceeded to put his shoe directly into the posterior of the Smithsonian Institution.

It's not even a speech about abortion. It is a total annihilation of those who celebrate a woman who advocated for the eradication of an entire race.

If you still consider Sanger a hero after watching this video, then I don't know what to tell you. But, one way or another, I encourage you to watch it until the end for one of the best closing lines I've ever heard.

I'm not saying that because the guy is my boss.  I'm saying that because it's a line that I'm going to steal--and use--every time I have the opportunity.
