Californians for Population Stabilization (CAPS) will be running an ad in the state that says Martin Luther King Jr. would dislike the recent amnesty legislation (order) because there are so many jobless already.
As Breitbart.com has reported:
"In a 1991 letter to Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT), Coretta Scott King and other black community leaders argued that illegal immigration would have a devastating impact on the black community. At the time, Hatch was working his U.S.. Senate position to undo some enforcement measures laid out in Ronald Reagan’s 1986 amnesty agreement, attempting to weaken interior enforcement and sanctions against employers who hired illegal aliens."

"On Martin Luther King's Birthday, we must ask ourselves how he would feel about 19% of African Americans unemployed or underemployed, about amnesty and work permits for 4 million illegal aliens with so many Americans jobless, about admitting one million more illegal workers this year. When 13% of Hispanic Americans are having trouble finding work, about Americans of all races not seeing a real wage increase in decades, was that Dr. King's dream?"
Politifact checked a claim by Rep. Lamar Smith that illegal immigrants hold 8 million jobs. Politifact found that he was using older figures, yet estimate the number to currently to be around 7 million because some illegal immigrants have lost their jobs in the current economy. The representative says one way to reduce unemployment is to free up some of those jobs currently taken by immigrants.

Although CAPS seems to think overpopulation is a bigger concern than most, it would be safe to assume Martin Luther King would be concerned about hindrances to American's having jobs.
