These Seven Companies Are Showing Military Appreciation the Best Way Possible

During this Memorial Day weekend, here are seven businesses that are actively supporting out troops and veterans.

Some are free offers, some are discounts, but all say, "Thank you" to our brave veterans and active-duty soldiers. 

1. Applebee's

May is Military Appreciation Month and Applebee’s salutes all those who serve and their families. Show military ID to enjoy $5 meals, all-day on Mondays, all month long. All month long, every day, enjoy 15% off your food purchase with Military ID. Unfortunately, this discount cannot be combined with $5 meal offer.

 

2. Bass Pro Shops

 Bass Pro Shops offer a regular Military Discount Days at their Outdoor World retail stores.  MilitaryDiscount Days start the 15th of every month and last one week.  This discount is available to active and retired military personnel.  You must present a valid photo-military identification card to receive your 10% discount at checkout.

 

3. Blue Star Museums

More than 2,000 museums across America will offer free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve, from Memorial Day, May 25, 2015 through Labor Day, September 7, 2015.

 

4. California's Great America

California’s Great America Theme Park will pay tribute to our brave military service men and women by offering FREE park admission to active or retired United States Service men and women, including veterans, with a valid military I.D. All current or past military personnel can bring up to six guests for just $19.99 each. 

 

5. King's Dominion

 King’s Dominion will pay tribute to our brave military service men and women by offering FREE park admission to any active, inactive or retired United States Service men and women with a valid military I.D., between May 23-25, 2015 and July 4-5, 2015.

 

6. King's Island

 All members of the military — active and retired — will receive free admission to Kings Island Memorial Day Weekend May 22-25, 2015. The offer also allows military personnel to purchase up to six (6) discount admission tickets for members of their immediate family for only $29.99 at the front gate admissions windows on the day of their visit.

 

7. Sam's Club 

Get a $15 gift card and a Free Rotisserie Chicken, Free Five Cheese Macaroni, and Free Cookies when active military, veterans, military personnel, and military spouses join or renew their Sam’s Club membership, through May 31, 2015. Proof of military service required.
