In case you haven’t seen it yet, Joss Whedon, a Hollywood director most notable for creating the ‘90s era hit TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and heading up the latest Avengers enterprise, recently produced a promotional video for Planned Parenthood. And it’s exactly what you’d expect from a left-leaning, truth-hating abortion advocate – it’s dark, exploitative, and patently misleading.
Basically, it’s everything Planned Parenthood and the larger abortion industry depend on to make their profits.
In the video, Whedon – who’s a guy, by the way,so isn’t that supposed to disqualify him from the abortion debate? – attempts to portray a world without Planned Parenthood, which apparently leads to woman keeling over from cancer, teen lovers arguing over sexually transmitted diseases, and high school girls being deprived of hormonal birth control. And, of course, young women would be forced to forgo full scholarships to college because they’re saddled with unplanned pregnancies. (Absolutely zero of which would come true, should Planned Parenthood find itself six feet under.)
After seeing Whedon's video, one young lady responded to its claims with her own personal, true-life story. And she absolutely destroyed his lies. Watch:
You can say what you want about Planned Parenthood and their false claims to provide life-saving health care to women. But I'll take the word of a teen mom who's actually walked the road of an unplanned pregnancy over the propoganda of a random leftist Hollywood talkinghead any day of the week.
In case you missed it, here's Whedon's original ad, complete with all its shameless lies:
