Pennsylvania police arrested a Pennsylvania substitute teacher Tuesday after she was allegedly caught having sex with a 17-year-old male in a local cemetery.
Police claim that they discovered 49-year-old Kelly Aldinge with an Easton High School student in a Chevrolet Equinox at a nearby cemetery. Both she and the teenager told police they had been having sex since the fall of 2015, when he was 16 and Aldinger was substitute teaching at the school.
Even though the age of consent is 16 in Pennsylvania when it comes to statutory rape, Aldinger was charged with “institutional sexual assault" because she was a teacher and the boy was a student.
I would imagine that whatever hope Aldinger may have had of being promoted from her position of substitute teacher have been dashed due to this alleged incident.
