With speculation abounding about a potential move to Las Vegas, the Oakland Raiders received quite a unique offer on Monday, on the condition they relocate to Sin City.

Sapphire, a high-profile strip club in Las Vegas, released this statement to TMZ yesterday:

Sapphire proposes that if the Raiders do indeed relocate to Las Vegas, all team members will receive free lap dances and limo transportation at the best-voted, world’s largest, and most iconic gentlemen’s club in Las Vegas.

The club has a reputation for hosting famous clientele, including notable NFL stars such as Von Miller and Julio Jones (according to its website), and the city as a whole attracts celebrities when they want to get away from the spotlight. However, athletes rarely participate in these relaxing activities during the season, unless, of course, it’s Johnny Manziel.

Rumors of the Raiders leaving Oakland have continued to swirl after the franchise lost out on their bid to move to Los Angeles earlier this year, with Vegas named as a prominent option. However, the distractions of Sin City could easily overwhelm any team that moved there, and bribes such as Sapphire’s only affirm that possibility.  One former player, retired wide receiver Donte Stallworth, has expressed fears for the success of a franchise in Sin City.

Stallworth shared his opinion in a tweet, saying, “If the Raiders (or any professional team for that matter) move to Las Vegas, they will lose every game. Every last one of them.”

The Raiders have yet to respond to Sapphire’s offer, and nor have similar establishments in the Oakland area made a counter-offer, but we can only assume how the players reacted to such an incentive.
