YouTube user Nicolas Vuignier had been toying around with the perfect way to artfully record his ski runs, and it looks as if he made a breakthrough.

Vuignier apparently attached two translucent strings onto his iPhone and just started whipping it around his head while he skied down a mountain, calling it "centriphone" -- which we can only assume is an amalgamation of phone and centripetal force.

Regardless of how silly that sounds, the result is actually quite breathtaking, especially when the phone emerges from a cloud of snow. It’s like watching a surfer inside the tube of a wave.
