Last night, a major GOP effort to repeal ObamaCare failed in the Senate. This morning, Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) took to Twitter to celebrate the defeat. In true progressive liberal fashion, his pro-government sentiments were pretty creepy:
Last night proved, once again, that there is no anxiety or sadness or fear you feel right now that cannot be cured by political action.

Yikes! Way to put all your faith in government.
Twitter, of course, responded savagely.

Sen Murphy: "There is no anxiety or sadness or fear you feel right now that cannot be cured by political action."
US Senator extols government as the ultimate savior. So do totalitarians.

Twitter users also pointed out the unsettling religious aspect of Murphy's message:
Actually, there is no anxiety or sadness or fear you feel right now that cannot be cured by *Jesus Christ.* 1 Corinthians 13:4-13

Thank you, Senator Murphy, for candidly showing us what liberals truly believe. In government they trust.
