Out of all living American presidents, Donald Trump is the only one not to have descended from a family that owned slaves, according to a historical analysis report from Reuters.

The report studied the genealogies of the current American political elite, and found that five living presidents, two Supreme Court justices, 11 governors, and 100 members of Congress all have ancestors who owned slaves.

Minus Trump, all living presidents have a family history tied to slave ownership – including Joe Biden, Jimmy Carter, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and even Barack Obama, through his white mother’s side.

The only one who didn’t qualify was Trump. His family moved to the states after slavery was already abolished.

Other notable figures who are direct descendants of slave-holders include Supreme Court Justices Amy Coney Barrett and Neil Gorsuch, as well as Senators Mitch McConnell (R- KY) and Elizabeth Warren (D- MA). The report also goes into gruesome detail of the ancestral slave-owning histories of Sen. Lindsey Graham, Rep. Nancy Mace, and Rep. Tammy Duckworth.

I can’t wait to see how the leftist media will try to spin this one. The left is obsessed with insisting everyone feel guilty for what the Reuter’s report calls America’s “original sin.” of slavery. Now that Trump doesn’t fit this bill, it sure will be interesting to see how they react – or, rather, pointedly don't.

In a hilarious satirical article titled “Donald Trump is the least Racist Living President, Historical Analysis Finds” published by the Washington Free Beacon, the absurdity of the left’s obsession with constantly bringing up America’s history of slavery is brought to light.

“Being a slave owner is very racist. Obama and other privileged descendants of slave owners have benefited from the suffering and exploitation of slaves. In the interest of fairness, perhaps they should pay reparations to Trump's family and others who patiently waited for the United States to abolish slavery before immigrating,” the article reads, poking fun at the left’s constant badgering and begging for reparations.

The Reuters report highlights Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr, who specializes in African American history. Gates told Reuters the intention of the study is not to play the blame game, but instead is “just to say: Look at how closely linked we are to the institution of slavery, and how it informed the lives of the ancestors of people who represent us in the United States Congress today.”

“This is a learning opportunity for each individual. It is also a learning opportunity for their constituency…and for the American people as a whole," he said.

However, I’m not convinced the intention of the report wasn’t to guilt trip the entire American political class over something over which they have no control. In fact, I don’t see why any of this needs to be public knowledge at all. This was clearly a desperate attempt from the radical woke mob to dig up any dirt they could find on America’s leaders, and the one person I’m sure they hoped to dig up the most on had none!

I’d like to reinforce how the Washington Free Beacon ended their article: “Dumb investigations often yield dumb results. Nevertheless, we must respect the science.”
