CNN aired its new special Wednesday night hailing President Obama's legacy over the past eight years, simultaneously heaping adoration on the network's Favorite President Ever while back-handedly lamenting the upcoming Trump presidency.

But in its effort to paint President Obama as America's greatest unappreciated savior, CNN forgot just a few details.

The network conveniently omitted the fact that when Obama first took office in 2009, the national debt sat a $10 trillion. Now, it’s up to $20 trillion. Obama racked up more national debt than the previous four presidents combined.c

They also forgot to mention how many Americans have lost their health insurance under the president's signature health care law, or the fact that the number of people on food stamps has skyrocketed over the past eight years. And that's just the beginning.

So, since CNN can't be bothered to report the facts, we'll do it for them.
