Despite the fact that the election has been over for nearly two months, voters believe the media remains biased against the President-elect, a new Rasmussen Reports poll released on Wednesday reveals.

Nearly half (48 percent) of all likely U.S. voters polled believe “most reporters are biased against” Trump, Rasmussen finds.

Only 12 percent believe the media are biased in favor of Trump, while 31 percent say "most reporters try to be fair and balanced.”

Along party lines, Republicans are more likely to say the media are anti-Trump.

A majority of GOP respondents (74 percent) say members of the media are still displaying the same bias against the President-elect as that shown during the presidential campaign.

Only 15 percent of Republican voters feel the media try to be unbiased in their reporting.

Even Democrats (26 percent) think the media are biased against Trump as opposed to biased for him (16 percent).

Forty-seven percent of Democratic voters say most reporters try to be fair and balanced.

A Gallup poll conducted just days before the election in November found that a majority of registered U.S. voters (52 percent) believed the media were biased in favor of Trump’s Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.

Even with Clinton virtually out of the picture, the media remain critical of the President-elect.
