Pro-Life Organizations Found A New Way To Save Lives

Pro-life organizations have found a new way to directly reach women who are considering undergoing an abortion. Thanks to Copley Advertising, the organization that invented the “mobile geo-fence program,” women who enter abortion clinics are exposed to advertisements on their cell phones with messages such as “be informed” and “get the facts.”

The function of the application relies on something known as geofencing, tracking an individual’s location.

Fortune writes:

Typically, geofencing has been used by retail stores to identify that a customer who installed their app has entered one of their physical locations. That allows the retailer to send a targeted message (“50% off Oreos in Aisle 3”) to the customer just at the time when they are poised to make a purchase.

In an interview in September with Live Action News, Copley Advertising stated they would target certain places such as Planned Parenthood clinics, methadone clinics, abortion clinics and high-risk areas (AHPA) starting in New York City, Pittsburg, St. Louis and Columbus.

“We are very excited to bring our mobile marketing capabilities to the pro-life community,” Copley CEO John Flynn said.

The organization teamed up with Bethany Christian Services, an international pregnancy/parenting support and adoption agency, to begin the production and launch of this life-saving technology. Now, Life News reports that Copley works with several pro-life groups and one client has reportedly reached 800,000 women in which 2,000 of them clicked on the ad to the client’s pro-life website.

Abortion supporters have expressed their disconent with the technology and their fear of it. One radical pro-abortion website, Rewire, attempted to defame the application by referring to it as “propaganda," stating, “Flynn’s targeting of women seeking abortion presents a serious threat to the privacy and safety of women exercising their right to choose, as well as to abortion providers and staff.”

Planned Parenthood workers even went to far as to say it would work to protect their patients' privacy.

“We do not disclose specific security measures; however, I can say that we are continually evaluating and upgrading our protocols around patient safety and privacy,” Dawn Laguens, executive vice president, said in a statement. “Let me be clear: we will pursue every avenue available to protect our patients from targeted harassment and stigmatization. We are committed to protecting our patients and will take all claims extremely seriously.”


In all honesty, I think the pro-abortionists are just terrified that this technology might have a positive impact and slowly but surely will lower the amount of women who choose to kill their unborn child. They can start to kiss their beloved abortion clinics goodbye.
