President Donald Trump spoke at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Maryland on Friday.
During his remarks, Trump praised the GOP as the party “of the American worker.”
He doubled down on his campaign promises to overhaul the U.S. regulatory system and create new jobs across the country.
“It’s time for all Americans to get off of welfare and get back to work,” said Trump.
The President took on globalism, saying “there is no such thing” as “a global flag.”
“There is no such thing as a global anthem, a global currency, or a global flag,” said Trump. “This is the United States of America that I am representing.”
On his promise to “put America first,” Trump said, “I’m not representing the globe. I’m representing your country.”
