During a press conference following his first meeting with his economic advisory council on Friday, President Donald Trump discussed how the media – and subsequently the American people – have been watching and analyzing his every move.

With his election, he said that politics has “amazingly” become a bigger deal than even the Super Bowl.

“Amazingly, it’s never happened before, that politics has become a much bigger subject than the Super Bowl,” said Trump.

He continued, “The politics is much more interesting to people, so that’s good."

CNN, MSNBC, and other major news networks have been live broadcasting every nominee hearing, White House press briefing, council meeting, and news conference by the Trump administration.

The interest level is high for newly-instated President Trump as the liberal media anxiously awaits a misstep.
