I’m just going to leave this one here.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection caught two illegal alien kids at the U.S.-Canada border last Thursday who'd gotten so caught up playing Pokémon GO they hadn't noticed they'd wandered into another country.

And in other news, our border is so open that Pokémon GO players can just meander into our country while searching for a Pidgey.

We couldn’t make this up if we tried.

From CBP's press release:

U.S. Border Patrol Agents apprehended two juveniles crossing the U.S.-Canadian Border illegally while playing the Pokémon GO game on July 21.

Border Patrol Agents encountered two individuals walking southbound from Canada into the U.S. while playing the Pokémon GO game on their cellphones during the evening of July 21. Agents quickly determined in the field that the juveniles were unaware of their surroundings. The pair were later reunited with their mother at the nearby Border Patrol Station.

“Both juveniles were so captivated by their Pokémon GO games that they lost track of where they were. They crossed the international border inadvertently, but agents were able to reunite them with their mother,” stated Public Affairs Officer Michael Rappold.

Illegal alien families. Dangerous criminals and drug runners. Potential terrorists. Kids trying to catch fictional Japanese cartoon characters.

Is there anything our border ISN’T open to?
