One of the newly leaked emails to Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta includes a cryptic reference to foreign government donors.
The leaked email released by WikiLeaks is titled “endowment” and simply reads: "Foreign govt donors: all the money is in."
The email appears to be sent from Tina Flournoy (another email from that address refers to her as "Hartina"), presumably the same Tina Fourney who serves as the chief of staff to former President Bill Clinton. It's not immediately clear where these "foreign govt donors" were sending the referenced funding (it is illegal for a presidential campaign to receive foreign donations).
Flournoy has also sent emails regarding the Clinton Foundation, particularly with concerns over interview questions about the foundation. She has also spoken about defending the Clinton administration from attacks by Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.
